The breath of dawn, 2014
Charcoal on paper

I drew this charcoal after I found out that the family property was to be sold. It speaks of the sorrow of leaving my home and venturing into the unknown – the fog. It is about memory of a lifetime of trips along this driveway and about the final trip…the ending of one life and the beginning of a new one.
