In April, Linda Greedy and I headed inland to the historic village of Hill End to do a weekend workshop with the very funny and talented Luke Sciberras. The weekend was organised by Beryl Miles from Art Workshops Australia. Luke took us out to several spots in the bush to paint and then it was back to his studio to create a painting from our plein air paintings and eat his fabulous cake for afternoon tea. It was a great weekend with a wonderful group of like minded artists; fabulous dinner on the Saturday night (cooked by Luke) and an entertaining time staying with all the other artists at the one and only Pub in Hill End.
