As artists, we all have our list of art prizes that we aspire to be in…The Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing was at the top of my list, so when I got selected this year I was beyond excited! The opening was a great night and I really enjoyed meeting the other artists and hearing about their work. I always find drawing exhibitions so interesting… the variety of work on display is so diverse and exciting. I did not envy the judges job. Anne Ryan, Curator, Australian prints, drawings and watercolours at the Art Gallery of NSW, selected 44 works from over 480 entries across Australia.
